Our first day in Israel

Today the students had the opportunity to spend time with their partners and families.  Everyone had great stories to tell about spending the day with their hosts and getting to see different sites in Israel.  In the evening we met at the Tel Aviv port where we shared a Havdallah ceremony with our Israeli friends.  The students had the chance to get to know one another by playing mixer games and ended their evening by going to Max Brenner, a famous chocolate restaurant.

Tomorrow the entries will be written by students!

  2. Wow, it's so exciting reading the blog and seeing the photos! Asher has sent us some emails telling us about his wonderful host family and the incredible experience he's having and it's only been 2 days. I'm so happy for our kids and this amazing opportunity they get to have.
Thank you Karen, Rabbi Goor and Jewish Federation!
